Our aim was to provide outdoor experience of local Landscape from lower fell to lakeshore. Gain some understanding of the different habitats & landscape, compare 3 or more sites including farmed one, basic plant and tree ID, individual reflective time

Our aim was a journey from Dove Cottage to Fells around Grasmere. Basic map work, identify and mapping trees along the route, discover about more about the history including lake poets and cultural landscape. Use of experience on site for subsequent creative writing and art work.

Holme Primary School 2006
Our aim was to develop links with Local Nature Reserve Part of a study about sculpture, children to visit site discover about the variety environment and landscape there-and adjacent quarry. Look and examine plants, rocks shapes, textures, colours etc. Simple recognition.  Drawing, painting and clay work. Produce work on limestone pavement to create a limestone pavement in clay. Display in school and the community
